Some people have been suggesting some seriously awesome stuff and I need your feedback before I start working on it.

First thing, is a possible blog implementation. Such as blogs.fursonaonline.net

And the second thing ( Which I think can be great ) is Groups / Clans whatever.
Basically, if a person wants to start a group they will need a post limit. Then they submit a group request …

Okay guys.

Some people have been suggesting some seriously awesome stuff and I need your feedback before I start working on it.

First thing, is a possible blog implementation. Such as blogs.fursonaonline.net

And the second thing ( Which I think can be great ) is Groups / Clans whatever.
Basically, if a person wants to start a group they will need a post limit. Then they submit a group request to a place whch I will specify, groups will have their own username colour and will have their own special hidden section of the forum which only the group members can see.

That can make a huge opening for stuff like team battles, art battles and all other group related competitions.

I plan to make this community as interactive as possible. And V2 will be awesome I promise you.

Please post here and give feedback on these ideas and even give me some more ideas that you would like to see in V2

I think blogging should definitely be customized, that way members have more fun with it. Is their any way you could make it so that members can have a customizable profile as well? And even a customizable Club? The best way to explain what I mean is by referring you to the SheezyArt website's method of this. It's really cool and seems more fun than deviantART's constant green except for those lucky people who know how to code. -__- SheezyArt has it where you just pick your colors, etc, and it will insert the code automatically. Plus it's run on BBC coding, which is easier to learn in my view. I think if you did something similar, it would really be better for the website.

As for Groups/Clans, I think the owner of the group should be able to choose what is and is not visible. For example, their main profile should be visible, but roleplay and secret club plannings should be hidden. Every created thread should have a "hidden" option automatically chosen, and only administrators of that club/group can choose to make it visible, not members. This way the admins can control what is seen by non-members. Also, Group threads should be categorized; Announcements can be sent to every member via PM, sticky notes would be important threads that only admins can make, an then normal threads.

Getting a different skin to use on DeviantART is more easier than you think, all you need is Firefox or Google Chrome and install the Extension 'Stylish' then go to the developer's site where you can find different styles and colors for DeviantART. :3
